HUM Foundation is in the practice of organizing various event focused towards spreading awareness regarding environment conservation and protecting our endangered wildlife. The fest aims to bring together all stakeholders in Environment and wildlife conservation, Government and Local community on one platform and would chalk out ways for sustainable Himalayan Ecology. This will enable sharing of knowledge and experiences as well as issues and challenges in wildlife protection in the various forests ranges and national park of Uttarakhand and also bring out the scope, opportunities and trends in conservation. The event intends to bring out ways and means and suggest measures to enhance community awareness, Scientific intervention to improve the situation of land slides and deforestation, Mass Movement towards maintaining ecology, protecting wildlife and rivers and participation of youth in conservation efforts in Himalayan landscape.
